It can be used on other materials such as wood, plaster, sheet metal walls and ceilings. It is an exceptional overhaul hook. Features:
- Larger Contact Point: A large 4" contact point allows large areas of dry wall or lath and plaster to be pulled with each downward thrust.
- Conventional Penetration: A honed point makes penetration easier even through tough materials.
- An Arc Hook: At the back of the blade is a flexible hook to be used in places of limited space.
- Exceptional Pry Action: The large tooth area and head mass make prying easier.
- Combination Rake and Hoe: The design makes overhauling smoldering rags, rubble and debris of all kinds more efficient.
- Handles Made of Solid Fiberglass: Super strong solid fiberglass poles end bent or broken poles forever. Luminously colored for safety during conditions of poor visibility.
- Electrically Non-Conductive
- Stainless Steel Wear Sleeve: 8" wear sleeves are drawn over the fiberglass at both working ends of the hook.
- Celtex Grips: 28" of sanded celtex material give the user a positive no-slip shock absorbing grip
- Ends: Gas Shut-Off end is standard. Also available with D-Handle or Ram Knob ends. The material used is super light manganese alloy.
